More about the project
Russian Folk Industries” is a multi-media, cultural-linguistic learning project about the folk industries of Russia. The majority of craft industries have their roots in centuries-old traditions and are therefore closely woven into the history of our country.
Who is the project for?
This project is for a foreign audience – students, people spending time studying Russian in a Russian-speaking environment and also for a wide circle of people who are interested in art and the cultural traditions of Russia.
Also, the project is created with the help and support of Russianist colleagues (in Russia and abroad) who are trying to draw the attention of their students to Russian culture and history, raise interest in studying this in more depth and show the richness of our cultural heritage.
The level of prior knowledge required
Foreign users should have a knowledge of Russian at least to B1 standard (or similar).
